Marketplace Transactions

The marketplace is a peer-to-peer listing service. TradeMatch is not a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers. TradeMatch does not:

• Verify the condition, quality, safety, or ownership of any listed item.
• Guarantee that any buyer or seller will complete a transaction.
• Process, hold, or escrow any payment for marketplace items.
• Mediate or resolve disputes between buyers and sellers.
• Provide insurance or protection against loss, fraud, or damage.

All risk associated with a marketplace transaction — including payment risk, product safety, and personal safety during in-person meetings — is borne entirely by the buyer and seller. TradeMatch strongly recommends meeting in a public, well-lit location and using secure payment methods.

Job Postings and Working Relationships

TradeMatch does not verify the identity, credentials, licensing, insurance, or reliability of any user who posts or responds to a job. Any working relationship formed through the Platform is solely between the parties involved. TradeMatch is not an employer, general contractor, or employment agency. We are not responsible for:

• The quality, timeliness, or legality of any work performed.
• Payment for services rendered or materials supplied.
• Any injury, property damage, or loss arising from work arranged through the Platform.
• Compliance with licensing, insurance, or tax obligations of any user.

Estimates and Invoices

Estimate and invoice tools are provided for convenience. TradeMatch does not guarantee the accuracy of any estimate, the collection of any invoice, or the legal enforceability of any document created using these tools. Users are responsible for ensuring their estimates and invoices comply with applicable laws and regulations.

External Leads and Third-Party Data

The Labor Radar displays business and lead information sourced from third-party providers. This data may be outdated, inaccurate, or incomplete. TradeMatch does not verify external data and makes no representation as to its accuracy. Users must independently verify all information before acting on it. TradeMatch is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on external lead data.

Forum and User Content

Forum posts, replies, and other user-generated content reflect the opinions of their authors, not TradeMatch. TradeMatch does not endorse, verify, or warrant the accuracy of any user-generated content. TradeMatch is not liable for any loss or damage arising from reliance on user-generated content.

Verification and Credentials

While TradeMatch offers document verification features, verification is not a guarantee of a user's competence, reliability, or legal authorization to perform work. Users should always conduct their own due diligence, including checking references, verifying licenses, and confirming insurance coverage, before engaging any contractor or tradesperson.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TradeMatch, its owners, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, business, or personal injury, arising from or related to your use of the Platform or any interaction with another user.

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Platform is to stop using it and close your account.

Assumption of Risk

By using TradeMatch, you acknowledge that you are assuming all risk associated with using the Platform and interacting with other users, and you agree to release TradeMatch from any claims arising from such use.
